The Baltimore and Annapolis Trail<\/a> is literally a trail that extends from Baltimore all the way to Annapolis. Kelli and I used to walk along portions of it every now and then, as the part near where we lived was mostly level, surrounded by trees that provided plenty of shade, and was close enough to civilization that we didn’t need to worry if she ended up needing extra help.<\/p>\n

Today the weather was nice, so I walked along it for the first time in over a decade. The gravel road\/path has been paved over, but otherwise it’s about the same. I saw a lot of bikes, several other walkers, three police vehicles (patrolling, there was no sense of urgency) and one tent far enough into the woods that someone in a police vehicle wouldn’t notice it unless they were looking for it.<\/p>\n
