Puissant was one of the lead researchers at Nayleth Academy. Her study of weather control was unmatched in her day.
Unfortunately, she began to see portents of a coming disaster so severe as to mean the end of the world. To protect the Academy she conspired to pull it and the surrounding communities into the 9 Hells. She was thwarted at the last moment by a rag-tag band of adventurers as well as her apprentice, Lax.
